Dr. Natasha Yaneva, MD
Dr. Natasha Yaneva, MD is a specialist pediatrician and pediatric endocrinologist in Sofia with over 21 years of medical experience. She monitors the physical and neuropsychiatric development of the child’s body, diagnoses and treats childhood diseases. Dr. Yaneva DOES NOT perform ultrasound diagnostics of the thyroid gland.
Education
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Thracian University of Stara Zagora in 2004. She obtained her specialties in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology in 2004 and 2022. In 2016, she defended her dissertation on the topic: Diabetic ketoacidosis and coma in childhood.
Qualifications
Specialization in pediatric endocrinology in England with an ESPE clinical scholarship and in diabetology in the USA with an ISPAD clinical scholarship;
Qualification courses in the field of pediatrics;
Participation in national congresses and seminars in the specialty;
Member of the Bulgarian Medical Union, Bulgarian Pediatric Association, Bulgarian National Society of Pediatric Endocrinology, ESPE and ISPAD.
Biography
From 2004 to 2011, Dr. Yaneva worked as a resident physician at MBLAD Dr. Tota Venkova Gabrovo. Since 2013, she has worked in the Intensive Care Unit at the SBAL for Pediatric Diseases Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev Sofia, and since 2019, she has been part of the team of the Clinic of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases of the same hospital. She practiced at the MC Children’s Health – Ami Bue Sofia branch. She is currently part of the team of specialists at Diagnostic Center ‘Heart.’She speaks English and Russian.
