Assoc. Prof. Ralitsa Georgieva
Assoc. Prof. Ralitsa Georgieva is a pediatrician and neonatologist in Sofia with over 37 years of medical experience. She has authored over 150 publications and has participated in numerous Bulgarian and international scientific forums on topics such as intensive care and respiratory resuscitation of newborns, neonatal neurological disorders, ultrasound diagnostics, neonatal infections, and more. Assoc. Prof. Georgieva is a National Consultant in Neonatology. She performs neonatal examinations, transfontanelle ultrasound, and more. She was selected as one of the Best Doctors in Bulgaria in Neonatology in a study by Darik Radio.
Education
Graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 1987. She obtained her specialties in Pediatrics in 1995 and Neonatology in 1999.

Biography
From 1991 to 2009, Assoc. Prof. Georgieva worked as a research fellow and assistant physician at the Specialized Children’s Hospital “Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev.” Since 2009, she has served as Associate Professor and Head of the Neonatology Clinic at the same hospital. She teaches medical students and trains pediatric and neonatology residents, also conducting continuing education courses for neonatologists. She has practiced at the Pediatric Medical Center Sofia and MC Malchovcite Sofia. Currently, she is part of the medical teams at MC Dok Plus Sofia and Diagnostic Center “Heart.”
