Dr. Iskra Bayraktarova
Dr. Iskra Bayraktarova is a specialist cardiologist in Sofia with over 13 years of medical experience. She performs outpatient diagnostics, monitoring and treatment of a wide range of cardiological diseases – arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, rhythm and conduction disorders, congenital heart malformations in adult patients, valvular defects, heart failure, syncope, as well as Holter ECG monitoring, bicycle ergometry. She has a special interest in the complex modern care of patients with heart failure. Dr. Bayraktarova does not examine children.
Education
She graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2012 and has a specialty in Cardiology. She defended his doctoral dissertation on the clinical benefit of complete staged revascularization in patients with acute coronary syndrome.

Training in complex treatment of heart failure in Croatia, 2019;
Author and co-author of publications in Bulgarian and international scientific journals, with a main focus on rhythm and conduction disorders in different patient groups, long-term treatment of patients with myocardial infarction;
Member of the Bulgarian Medical Union, Society of Cardiologists in Bulgaria, European Society of Cardiology, European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging and Acute Cardiac Care Association;
Participation in national congresses and seminars in the specialty.
Biography
Since 2013, Dr. Bayraktarova has been working at the National Cardiology Hospital. Since 2017, she has held the position of assistant in cardiology at the Department of Non-Invasive and Functional Diagnostics at the National Cardiology Hospital. Since 2019, she has also practiced in the Department of Emergency Cardiology at the National Cardiology Hospital. She practiced at the St. Panteleimon Medical Center in Sofia and Diagnostic Center “Heart.”
