Dr. Desislava Staneva
Dr. Desislava Staneva is a specialist obstetrician-gynecologist with over 9 years of experience. She performs preventive examinations, modern diagnostics and surgical treatment of gynecological diseases, treatment of precancerous lesions of the cervix. Her interests are related to pediatric and adolescent gynecology and aesthetic gynecology. She provides consultations and treatment for urinary incontinence, genital prolapse, vaginal atrophy, vaginal relaxation, lichen sclerosus, for which she applies minimally invasive surgical techniques, including threadlifting (mesotherapy) of the intimate area. Dr. Staneva examines children from 0 to 18 years of age.
Education
Graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2015. She has a degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Author of articles with medical content on puls.bg in the Women’s Health section;
Member of the Bulgarian Medical Union;
Participation in national and international congresses and seminars in the specialty.
Biography
Since 2016, Dr. Staneva has been part of the team of specialists at the Department of Gynecology and Oncogynecology at Nadezhda Hospital. She is currently part of a team of specialists at the Diagnostic centre ‘Heart’.
