Dr. Anton Vladimirov
Dr. Anton Vladimirov is a specialist pediatrician and pediatric endocrinologist in Sofia with over 15 years of medical experience. His professional interests are in the field of pediatric emergencies, intensive care, acute complications of diabetes, growth disorders, obesity.
Education
He graduated from the Medical University – Sofia in 2008. He obtained specializations in Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in 2014, and in Pediatric Diseases in 2018.
Qualifications
He has participated in numerous pediatric congresses and pediatric endocrinology congresses;
2022 – 2025 is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Pediatricians for the Future and participates in trainings of general practitioners and specialists in outpatient pediatrics
Winter School in Pediatric Endocrinology of the European Society of Pediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) in Rzeszow, Poland
Member of the Bulgarian Medical Union, Bulgarian Pediatric Association, Bulgarian National Society of Pediatric Endocrinology.
Biography
From 2011 to 2012, Dr. Vladimirov worked in the Department of Endocrinology at the SBAL for Children’s Diseases Prof. Ivan Mitev, and from 2014 to 2019 he was a staff physician in the Pulmonology Clinic and in the Intensive Care Unit of the same hospital. He was part of the team of the First Children’s Consultative Clinic (1 DCC) since its establishment in 2012. Since 2026, he has been working as a staff pediatrician in the Clinic of Pediatric Surgery, Department of Surgery of the Newborn and Congenital Anomalies of the N. I. Pirogov University Hospital.He is currently part of a team of specialists at the Diagnostic centre ‘Heart’. He speaks English.
