Dr. Desislava Yordanova
Dr. Desislava Yordanova is a pediatrician and pediatric endocrinologist in Sofia with over 15 years of experience. Her scientific interests include monitoring children’s physical development, diagnosing and treating growth delay, disorders of calcium-phosphorus metabolism and vitamin D, pubertal disorders, thyroid diseases, and obesity.
Education
Graduated from the Medical University of Pleven in 2002. She obtained her specialties in Pediatrics in 2009 and Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in 2017.

- Member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, Bulgarian Pediatric Association, Bulgarian National Association for Pediatric Endocrinology, and Bulgarian Society of Endocrinology
- Participation in numerous forums and scientific meetings in Bulgaria and abroad in the fields of pediatrics and endocrinology
Biography
Since 2012, Dr. Yordanova has been practicing as a pediatrician in the Endocrinology Department at SBAL for Children’s Diseases Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev. Since 2017, she has also worked as a pediatric endocrinologist. She is a part-time assistant in pediatrics at the Medical University of Sofia. She is currently part of the medical teams at DCC Neoclinic, MC Dok Plus Sofia, and Diagnostic Center “Heart.”
